1. How do I get clarity on my desires and dream job?
Feeling confused about what you want to do when going back to work after having time off is completely normal. The first step is to take create space for yourself and grab your journal. Let’s get crystal clear by asking yourself some really specific questions. What hours would you like to work? What skills will you be using? What type of environment will it be? How many people will be in the environment? What type of person will you work for? How much money will you earn? What date will you begin working in this job (be realistic)? You could even write out your “ideal” day from the moment you start work until you finish. Get as specific and as clear as you possibly can.
2. How do I achieve my desires?
After you have chosen the date you would like to start working on or before in this job, it’s time to create the experience in your mind. Did you know that your brain actually doesn’t know the difference between experiencing something in real life or imagining that you are experiencing it? So make sure you get yourself into a comfortable relaxed position, then close your eyes. Go out to 15 minutes after your first day of work and notice in detail everything that you see, hear and feel? Allow the experience to be as real as possible. Another useful tool is to create a vision board (with images, words and symbols that represent your desires that you are calling in) and put the vision board where you can see it daily.
3. How do I stop self-sabotaging opportunities?
How many times has something shown up in your life and at the last minute it fell apart? You were so close to what you wanted but didn’t quite succeed. The most important thing to do… is to get out of your own way. What beliefs about yourself or your desires do you have that may hinder this opportunity arising? “I am not deserving of this job”, “I am not good enough”. Write the belief down and underneath it, write all the evidence as to why this belief is NOT true, gather evidence for your mind to be able to reframe it. Create a new belief aligned with what you desire.
4. How do I ‘speed’ things up?
Our thoughts send the message out to the universe, yet it is the feeling that draws the experience towards us. So it is important to be vibrating at the energetic level of what you really want to manifest. The most effective way to do this is to be grateful before the experience has even been made manifest. Feel the gratitude in your heart and spend time each day acknowledging why you are grateful for this dream job.
5. How do I stop overthinking about not getting the job?
It’s easy to say just don’t think about it. Let’s get real though, how many times has someone said that to you and it made you think about it even more? We know that where our attention goes, energy flows. And if energy is what draws a situation towards us, where would you like your attention to be? Always keep your focus on what you desire! Become an observer of your mind. Notice if your mind wanders into the negative thoughts, let them go and continuously bring it back to what your desire.
6. How do I take inspired action?
You have completed all of the other steps towards manifestation and you are not quite sure what to do now? Manifestation still requires action. What steps you can take towards bringing this into reality? Are you networking? Have you connected with a job agency? Are you using linked in? Do you need any further skill development? Are you checking the job advertisement pages? Be sure to continue to take inspired action and trust that everything happens in divine timing. One of the most important things to remember is to let go of attachment and allow things to unfold as they are meant to.
